Armory Management Company (AMC) manages residential and commercial property for the benefit of owners, tenants, and the entire community. AMC specializes in the redevelopment and management of distinct historic properties in Providence, Rhode Island. AMC currently manages and provides leasing and marketing services for over 400 apartments and condominium units as well as over 150 commercial storefronts and offices, comprising over 350,000 square feet in over 60 buildings. The firm also manages 75,000 sq. ft. of light industrial, incubator and flex space. AMC serves as the general contractor on the majority of its redevelopment projects.
Armory Management Company is owned by Mark Van Noppen, Co-Founder and Managing Director of The Armory Revival Company, an award-winning development firm founded in 1986. Susan Reis, Vice President of Property Management, brings over twenty-five years of experience in managing real estate to owners, tenants, and residents. Sue is an Accredited Residential Manager and a Registered Apartment Manager associated with IREM and accredited by the National Association of Home Builders. Edgar Garzon is Controller at AMC. He has over five years of experience in real estate accounting and oversees property accounting. Edgar received a B.A. in Economics and a B.S. in Finance from Rhode Island College. The accounting department is strengthened by the knowledge and experience of Regina Tibbitts, Accounting Manager.
The company employs its own maintenance and construction crews under the direction of Allison Luciano, General Manager, Kara Zopfi, Assistant General Manager, and Bill DiBello, Construction Manager. Allison and Kara combine for over fifteen years of managing real estate. Bill has worked in the construction, hospitality, and management industries for over thirty years. AMC keeps its apartments fully rented to a diverse mix of residents under the direction of Mindy Caster, Residential Leasing Agent, and Stephanie Tobon, Residential Leasing Agent. Seth Zeren, Director of Development, oversees the commercial property portfolio.
AMC has a stable number of sub-contractors with long-standing relations that allows the company to draw upon extensive building experience and mobilize a large workforce to plan and execute major improvements and tenant fit-out projects. AMC’s affiliations with The Armory Revival Company, Armory Properties, Armory Construction Services, and countless partners around the region help inform AMC’s property disposition services, helping owners realize maximum economic, social, and environmental returns on their investments.
